And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drako Starnovick!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starnovick lands a nice shot to the body.
Starnovick misses with a jab, cross combination.
Starnovick shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

In The Box clinches.
In The Box with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Starnovick is looking for a takedown up against the cage. In The Box gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

In The Box pulls guard effortlessly.
Starnovick wants to pass the guard but In The Box is keeping the position.
In The Box is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Starnovick has gone for a leg lock! In The Box slips out almost immediately though and dives into Starnovick's guard.
In The Box could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Starnovick looks gassed!
In The Box advances position into side control!

In The Box is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Starnovick knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.

In The Box is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Starnovick has escaped the position, nice work there.
In The Box tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
In The Box trying to control the action but Starnovick is working from the bottom.
Starnovick tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

In The Box is working for a guillotine from mount but Starnovick frees his head quite easily.
Starnovick really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Starnovick is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
In The Box with shots to the head and body - Starnovick looks very uncomfortable down there.

Starnovick tries to improve his position but In The Box has taken his back! In The Box has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Starnovick tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! In The Box pushes Starnovick away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
