Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miyamoto Usagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Bob Marley - Smoke Two Joints as his entrance music. Rio Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie breaks Usagi's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Usagi tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.

Usagi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Gracie is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Gracie and Usagi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Miyamoto Usagi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Usagi throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Gracie has his hands clasped together but Usagi breaks the hold and Gracie is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Usagi!
