Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toshika Koga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koga comes to the cage accompanied by Saliva – King Of My World. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Toshika Koga! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Willy Watson! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watson misses the shot to the body. Watson works Koga's body with a nice hook. Watson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Watson has Koga up against the cage in a clinch.
Watson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Koga misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Watson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Koga manages to avoid it. Willy Watson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Watson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Watson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Koga on the side of the head. Koga shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Watson as he jumps to the side. Watson scores with the left hand. Koga knows he should have avoided that one. Watson pushes Koga up against the cage in a clinch. Watson breaks the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Watson controlling the position easily from mount. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Watson wants to control the pace but Koga is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Watson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Koga manages to work his way to half guard, despite Watson's best efforts. Watson prevents Koga from improving his position. Koga moves into full guard.
Watson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Koga is concentrating on defense, preventing Watson from advancing position. Watson wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Koga uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Koga is striking off his back. Watson thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Watson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Koga rather than just go for the knockout. Watson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Good leg kick by Watson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Watson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Koga's half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koga tries to roll over but Watson keeps him under control.

Watson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Koga really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Watson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Watson decides to stand back up. Watson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Koga pushes down on Watson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Koga wants to free his trapped foot but Watson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Watson is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Koga is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Watson! Koga wants to control the pace but Watson is squirming around nicely. Koga controlling the position easily from mount. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Koga wants to get back to full guard but Watson has passed into side control. Watson decides to stand back up. Watson steps back and let's Koga get back to his feet. Koga takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Watson works the jab nicely. Both fighters circling a little - Watson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Watson throws a shot to the body.

Watson throws a head kick that misses. Watson checks the leg kick. Watson misses with a straight left. Koga scores a takedown into full mount! Koga goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Watson turns into him and now he's in Koga's guard.
Watson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Koga swivels though and keeps the full guard. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Koga wants to sweep here but Watson controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watson stands and steps away. Koga gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. A looping hook to the body misses from Watson. Koga does a little dance to reset his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Koga. Watson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Koga. Koga circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Watson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Watson throws a quick inside leg kick.

Watson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Koga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Koga tries to buck Watson off but Watson is having none of it. Watson decides to take the fight back to the feet. Watson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Koga is working to get back to half guard.

Willy Watson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Watson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Koga gets back to half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Koga tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Watson has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Watson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Watson trying to control but Koga is having none of it. Watson avoids the attempt from Koga to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Willy Watson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Watson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
