The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christos dives in and grabs Newsom's left leg, looking for a takedown. Newsom pushes down on Christos's head and hops out.
Newsom misses with a hook
and Christos counters with a single leg into guard. Newsom didn't expect that.
Christos prevents Newsom from getting back to his feet.
