Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renaldo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erwin Ontario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ontario sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ontario turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Diaz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ontario tries to avoid it but Diaz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ontario to the ground. Ontario escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Diaz walks into a stiff left hand from Ontario.
That kick from Ontario tenderised Diaz's leg. Diaz is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ontario connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ontario lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively.
Ontario fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Diaz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Diaz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ontario manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ontario swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Erwin Ontario hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Ontario is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Diaz's shoulder. That is not cool.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
