Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fidu Paa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aulis Makkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makkonen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Metsämiehen Laulu. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paa closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Makkonen quickly recovers to half guard.
Paa thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Makkonen's head.
It looks like Paa is going to stand back up.
Makkonen has his hands clasped together around Paa's back. He's all about the action.

Makkonen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Paa tries to avoid it but Makkonen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Paa to the ground. Paa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Paa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Makkonen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Makkonen is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Paa with him. Paa is trying to defend but Makkonen has an arm under the chin now! Paa grimaces and is forced to tap out!
