The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Paula Tejando pulls out of a head kick attempt.
De Paula Tejando looks to land a body kick but Mike moved away.
Mike will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mike fails to land the takedown.
De Paula Tejando misses with a low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Paula Tejando throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mike.
Mike takes a head kick and keeps coming.

De Paula Tejando is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
