Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Axel Raze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raikage Sama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raze kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Scream Aim Fire - Bullet For My Valentine. Sama is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I OFFER MY LIFE!. Raikage Sama is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raze darts in trying to clinch
and Sama cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Raze has his takedown stuffed
enabling Sama to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sama seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Raze is not content to let Sama control the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Sama is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Sama is looking to advance position but Raze won't allow it.
Well, if Sama is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Axel Raze has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Raze throws a head kick but Sama moves out of range.
Axel Raze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raze wants to clinch

and Sama counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Raze's guard now.
Raze can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sama controls the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raikage Sama dominated that round.
That's time! Raze's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Raze moves to clinch but Sama breaks away

and Sama counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Raze is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sama dives into side control.

Sama is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Raze has escaped the position, nice work there.

Sama is working to tighten is grip on Raze's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Raze has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sama is really squeezing tight and eventually Raze passes out! Sama breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
