Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harry Beaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Kerns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beaver has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kerns gets underhooks to prevent Beaver's takedown attempt.
Kerns misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Beaver.

Kerns breaks the clinch.
Beaver is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kerns throws a series of punches but Beaver avoids them all with ease.

and Beaver holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Beaver misses with a knee strike.
Kerns managing to block the knees to the body from Beaver.
Beaver is trying to stall.
Beaver wants a takedown but no success here.
Beaver can't get the takedown.

Kerns unloads a knee to the mid-section. Beaver lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Beaver has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kerns is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kerns manages to break the clinch.

Kerns shoots in and bounces Beaver off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Kerns postures up and lands a big shot to Beaver's brow.
Kerns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beaver swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kerns is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Beaver looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kerns won't allow Beaver to sweep him here.
Beaver is breathing heavily.

Beaver has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kerns can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kerns throwing strikes but missing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Beaver is looking to clinch but Kerns is avoiding it.
Beaver throws a head kick but Kerns moves out of range.

Beaver drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kerns manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Beaver will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jack Kerns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kerns throws out a loose jab but Beaver uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kerns circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kerns throws a head kick but Beaver moves out of range.

Kerns shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kerns is working Beaver over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kerns wants to control from the top but Beaver keeps moving.

Kerns drops back looking for a leg! Beaver is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Beaver manages to kick Kerns off! Kerns jumps back into Beaver's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kerns landing with the ground and pound.

Kerns has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Beaver had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kerns is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Beaver Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kerns's back instead.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Beaver doesn't have the hooks in and Kerns manages to turn into his guard.
Beaver is trying to control the position but Kerns postures up.
Kerns working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Beaver's head.
Kerns is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Beaver utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kerns passes Beaver's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Beaver is staying active underneath Kerns, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kerns is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Kerns decides to return to a standing position.

Beaver feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kerns is on top in guard.

Beaver has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kerns should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Beaver has tightened it up now! Kerns should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
