Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Depool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens swings away with a body shot that misses
and Depool counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Depool moves to clinch but Stevens breaks away
and Stevens counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Depool's guard now.
Depool is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stevens is controlling him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Stevens seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Stevens content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Stevens throws a big right hand that misses.
Stevens thows a big elbow that misses.
Depool looking for a sweep. Not yet Depool, not yet.

Depool can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stevens controls the pace.
Stevens pushes down on Depool's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Stevens tries to pass to full mount but Depool defends it.
Stevens content to control rather than advance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Stevens throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Stevens frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Stevens lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Depool hang on?
It looks like Justin Depool has been cut.
Stevens scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That has opened up Justin Depool's cut even more.
Stevens lands a big elbow.
The cut above Justin Depool's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Justin Depool's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
