Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Masaaki Satake!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satake fails with an attempt to clinch.
A head kick misses from Satake.
Daniels closes the distance looking to clinch
and Satake counters with a leg kick.
Daniels fails in his attempt to clinch.
Daniels shoots in but no luck this time.
Daniels throws a left and a right that both miss
and Satake counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Daniels shoots for a takedown but Satake saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Daniels takes one to the side of the head.
Daniels misses with a takedown attempt - Satake sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Daniels. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Daniels darts in trying to clinch
and Satake counters with a slapping leg kick.
Daniels is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Daniels throws a combination that misses
and Satake counters with a two punch combo.
Daniels swats away the attempt to clinch by Satake.
Daniels shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Satake but Satake pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Satake uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Daniels has time to react.
Satake lands a brutal head kick. Daniels looks out on his feet and Satake throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
