Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lefthook Magee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva tries to sprawl but Magee drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Silva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Magee is trying to control the action in half guard but Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Magee might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Silva kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Magee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Magee's legs - danger averted.

Silva explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Magee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Magee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Silva takes a kick to the side of the head.
Magee shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Magee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Magee is stalling here. Silva is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Magee seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Silva has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Silva is staying tight to Magee's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Well Magee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
