Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goro Shinnok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Gold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Goro Shinnok!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold tries to clinch but Shinnok is having none of it.
Gold doesn't manage to clinch there - Shinnok circles away.
Shinnok moves into range and connects with a jab.
Shinnok cracks Gold with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Shinnok has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gold to stand back up!
Shinnok throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gold counters with a crisp one two that drops Shinnok! Gold thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Shinnok to his feet! Shinnok is in big trouble!
Shinnok is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gold rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shinnok moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shinnok misses with a body punch
and Gold counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Shinnok off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Gold follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Shinnok was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mike Gold!
