Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Gongora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Crotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gongora comes to the ring accompanied by Tubthumping (I get knocked down) - Chumbawamba. Crotch has chosen Why Can't We Be Friends? by War as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crotch throws a lazy right hand but Gongora sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Crotch is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gongora.
Crotch has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gongora.
Crotch misses with a low kick.
Crotch throws a hook but Gongora avoids it easily.
Gongora thumps Crotch with a low kick.
Crotch takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gongora, right into the meat.
Gongora uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Crotch.
Gongora throws a nice inside leg kick.
Crotch takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Crotch throws a jab but it's blocked by Gongora.
Gongora ducks under a wild hook from Crotch.
Gongora slips a straight right by Crotch.
Crotch misses the shot to the body.
Crotch has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gongora.
Gongora uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crotch.
Crotch finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Crotch blocks a head kick by Gongora.
Gongora punishes Crotch's body with a nice straight punch.

Gongora moves in looking to clinch but Crotch pushes him off.
Gongora lands with a thumping leg kick.

and Crotch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Gongora throws a solid leg kick but Crotch takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gongora.
Crotch scores with a hook to the body. Gongora takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Crotch loads up on a big right hand but Gongora slips the punch.
Crotch takes a kick to the side of the head.
Crotch misses the jab.
Crotch keeps the fight on the outside.
Gongora avoids the body shot from Crotch.
Gongora pushes Crotch away with a front kick.
Gongora moves away from the strike by Crotch.
Crotch avoids the head kick by Gongora.
Gongora will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gongora is looking to slow Crotch down with leg kicks.
Gongora slips under a jab from Crotch.
Crotch keeps the fight on the outside.

Crotch throws a leg kick but Gongora sees it coming and moves out of range.

Crotch looks to land a left hand but Gongora moved out of range nicely.
Gongora feints and then cracks Crotch's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Crotch down.
Gongora wants to clinch up but Crotch keeps it at a distance.
Crotch is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Crotch takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Gongora lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Crotch throws a big shot that misses.
A decent looking cross lands there for Crotch.
Gongora throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gongora throws a low kick but Crotch moves out of range easily.

Crotch throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gongora tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Crotch is in Gongora's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Crotch trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Crotch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gongora swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gongora working a defensive guard but Crotch passes into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Crotch passes into side control, despite Gongora's attempt to control the position.
Crotch scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Gongora to see if he's OK.
Gongora gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Crotch with shots to the head and body - Gongora looks very uncomfortable down there.

Gongora is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Crotch locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Gongora is forced to tap!
