Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Bridges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrew Bridges!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Royce Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridges tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gracie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bridges somewhat.
Gracie throws a series of strikes that have Bridges backpedaling.
Royce Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie shoots in and bounces Bridges off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bridges keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Bridges wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment.
Gracie slips nicely into half guard.
Gracie is thwarting Bridges's attempts to control the position.

Gracie seems to be looking for submissions.

Gracie is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bridges controlling the position for now.

Bridges is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
Bridges is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bridges looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Bridges trying to get back to full guard but Gracie takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bridges tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bridges really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bridges is working hard here to advance position.
Bridges wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.

Gracie is working for a guillotine from mount but Bridges frees his head quite easily.

Gracie with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Bridges is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Gracie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bridges to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bridges shrugs it off.
Bridges is trying desperately to improve position.
