Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toomas Ilves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bishop Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ilves's entrance music is Military Soviet Hymn. A fine choice. Carver is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lil Wayne - Money on my Mind. Toomas Ilves has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toomas Ilves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bishop Carver!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ilves scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Ilves wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carver keeps working.
Carver pushes Ilves off looking to stand but Ilves dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carver tries to roll over but Ilves keeps him under control.
Ilves will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ilves wants to take a breather but Carver is having none of it.
Carver is trying to stand back up but Ilves is controlling him
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Carver lands a big uppercut and Ilves crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ilves looks OK.

Carver seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

I've got Carver winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
