The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bachelor takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Do Nascimento swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The fighters circle momentarily. Do Nascimento darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Do Nascimento bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bachelor's head.
Bachelor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Do Nascimento paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Do Nascimento throws a leg kick which misses Bachelor's front leg but catches the back leg as Bachelor tries to avoid it.
Do Nascimento fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bachelor.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Do Nascimento has cracked Bachelor with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Do Nascimento lands another huge swinging hook and Bachelor tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Bachelor, before Do Nascimento can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Edson Arantes Do Nascimento!
