Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Aoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brusso Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Aoshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brusso Do!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoshi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Do avoids a kick to the body.
Do on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Aoshi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Do thows a leg kick but Aoshi checks it
and Aoshi counters with an inside leg kick.
Aoshi tries to bum rush Do with a series of wild strikes but Do uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Aoshi misses with a head kick.
Aoshi lands with a nice combination. Do backs away looking to recover.
Aoshi tests Do's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Do wants to clinch up but Aoshi keeps it at a distance.
Aoshi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Do but Do pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A head kick misses from Aoshi.
Do lands a nice leg kick that just misses Aoshi's sensitive parts.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick from Do lands but Aoshi takes it in his stride.

It looks like Shinji Aoshi has been cut.
Aoshi connects with a high kick.
Do throws out a loose jab but Aoshi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aoshi needs to keep his hands up - Do had a free shot at his head there.

Do throws the left hand but Aoshi avoids the punch easily.

and Aoshi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Do tries to land a front kick but Aoshi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Do misses with an uppercut. Aoshi saw that one coming.
Aoshi stuffs the takedown attempt from Do. Do gets slowly back to his feet.
Aoshi tries a head kick but it misses.
Do blocks a head kick by Aoshi.
Aoshi moves out of range of the leg kick from Do.
Shinji Aoshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping body kick lands there for Do.
Aoshi is breathing heavily.
Do blocks a head kick by Aoshi.
Aoshi avoids the head kick by Do.
Do connects with a body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Do darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Shinji Aoshi's cut is getting worse.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Do fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aoshi.
Do thumps Aoshi with a low kick.

and Aoshi counters with a straight right hand.
Aoshi takes one on the button.
Do sizes up Aoshi with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Shinji Aoshi's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Do fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aoshi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Do throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Do lands with a slapping head kick.
Aoshi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Do tries to avoid it but Aoshi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Do to the ground. Do escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Aoshi avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Do is looking to slow Aoshi down with leg kicks.
Do tries to work over Aoshi's front leg with a kick but Aoshi checks it.
Aoshi swats away the attempt to clinch by Do.
A shot to the body from Do misses
and Aoshi counters with a good low kick that Do was not able to check.
Do avoids the head kick by Aoshi.

Do misses with a wild body shot.

Jeez, Shinji Aoshi's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
