PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nam Phan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gro Npound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Npound has chosen King og the kill - Annihilator as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Nam Phan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Npound shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Phan napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The strikes coming from Npound are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Phan is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Npound asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Npound misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Npound looks up at the clock and then as Phan takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Npound smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Phan takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Npound is putting a hurting on Phan here, landing some big shots from side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Phan is trying to get back to his feet.
Npound in side control lands a decent elbow.
Npound lands a nice forearm strike.

It looks like Nam Phan has been cut.
Npound working the ground and pound from side control.

Nam Phan's cut is getting worse.
Phan on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Nam Phan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Npound tries to advance to mount but can't.
Npound cracks Phan with a big right hand but Phan just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Jeez, Nam Phan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nam Phan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
