The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higastsui shoots and misses
and Ander counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ander buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ander throws a nice head kick!
Higastsui swats away the attempt to clinch by Ander.
Psil Ander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Higastsui drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ander looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ander is looking for a triangle but Higastsui pushes his legs off easily.
Ander had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Higastsui defends it easily.
