Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dracul has his takedown stuffed
and Couture counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Couture pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dracul fails to land with a series of punches.

and Couture counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Couture.
Dracul wants to stand and escape but Couture is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dracul is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Couture dives into side control.
Couture tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Couture stands up.
Dracul is looking to clinch.
Dracul fails with the takedown

and Couture counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roman Dracul. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dracul is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Couture looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Couture drops back looking for a leg! Dracul is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dracul manages to kick Couture off! Couture jumps back into Dracul's guard.

Couture is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Let's hope that Couture has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Couture missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Couture wants to control from the top but Dracul keeps moving.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Randy Couture.
Dracul lands with a nice combination. Couture backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Randy Couture has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Couture looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Couture shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Dracul tries to buck Couture off but Couture takes his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Couture somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Couture controlling the position well here. Dracul rolled but Couture kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dracul holding both Couture 's hands and preventing any damage.
Couture has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Dracul's body.

Couture somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Couture struggling to land strikes to the head as Dracul covers up.
Couture biding his time, looking for the opening.
Dracul is trying to stand back up.
Couture is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
