Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petr Petrovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuck Norris is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petrovsky's waist but Petrovsky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Norris off to one side.
Petrovsky shoots for a double leg takedown but Norris sprawls well. He's pushed Petrovsky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Petrovsky blocks a head kick by Norris.
Norris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Norris catches Petrovsky with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Petrovsky drives through and clinches with Norris against the cage.
Petrovsky tries to pull guard but Norris holds him up against the cage and eventually Petrovsky drops back down to his feet.
Petrovsky wants to break the clinch but can't.

Petrovsky ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Petrovsky no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Norris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Petrovsky swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Petrovsky looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Norris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Norris has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Petrovsky is proving hard to escape from.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Chuck Norris wasn't active enough on the ground.

It looks like Petr Petrovsky has been cut.
Petrovsky tries to clinch but Norris is having none of it.
Norris stalks Petrovsky and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Petrovsky's face. Petrovsky staggers backwards, shaken.
Chuck Norris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Norris lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Petrovsky sprawling to the canvas. Norris follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Petrovsky hang on?

Petrovsky is rocked!
Petrovsky is breathing heavily.
Norris trying to mount his opponent but Petrovsky defends it.
Oh Petrovsky is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Norris takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Petrovsky seems to have got his legs back now.

Norris stands up out of the half guard.
Petrovsky shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petr Petrovsky. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Norris counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Petrovsky thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Norris's head.
Petrovsky wants to take a breather but Norris is having none of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Petr Petrovsky will probably get the nod.

A head kick from Norris lands but Petrovsky takes it in his stride.

Petrovsky goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Norris turns into him and now he's in Petrovsky's guard.

Petr Petrovsky's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Petrovsky looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Norris is fending him off so far but Petrovsky persists. Nope, Norris circles away and we're back to standing.
