Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deacon Griggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Amoroso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griggs comes to the cage accompanied by Church by T-Pain. Amoroso has chosen Renegades of Funk - Rage Against The Machine as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griggs throws out a loose jab but Amoroso uses good head movement to avoid it.
Griggs ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Amoroso moves away.
Griggs fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Amoroso misses with the combination.

Griggs shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Amoroso takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Amoroso is looking to improve his position but Griggs isn't that keen on the idea.
Griggs looking to control but Amoroso is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Amoroso tries to reverse the position but Griggs maintains control.
Amoroso is squirming around, avoiding Griggs's attempts to control the action.

Griggs has control of Amoroso's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Amoroso regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Amoroso tries to lock up and control but Griggs gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Griggs lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
