Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Han Denderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Han Denderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime tries a head kick but it misses.
A punch combination from Denderson misses.
Denderson cracks Prime with a right hand to the side of the head.
Prime really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Prime clinches up with Denderson and pushes him back against the cage.
Denderson is trying to break the clinch but Prime has him pressed against the cage.
Prime jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Denderson walks away with a smile on his face. Prime gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Denderson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Denderson seems to be working for a kimura but Prime defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Prime lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Prime knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Denderson on the ground.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Denderson is on top in guard.

Denderson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Prime has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Denderson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Prime taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Denderson doesn't care though - he's delighted!
