Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emman Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rheyder Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivera's entrance music is Triple HHH Entrance Song. A fine choice. Rheyder Fernandes will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Rivera wants to stand and escape but Fernandes is having none of it.

Fernandes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rivera looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rivera looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rivera!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fernandes is looking to reverse the position.
Rivera working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Rivera tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rivera has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fernandes is holding Rivera down, trying to stall.

Rivera has hold of Fernandes's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fernandes tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rivera cranks the arm and Fernandes screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fernandes, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
