Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kresina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Union Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Union Castillo throws a nice looking combination but Kresina bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kresina tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Kresina darts in and clinches Union Castillo up against the cage.

Kresina throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Union Castillo blocks it with crossed arms.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Union Castillo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Union Castillo wants to break free but Kresina has control.

Kresina is pressed up against the cage. Union Castillo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kresina down to the mat. Kresina avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jack Kresina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kresina is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kresina moves in looking to clinch but Union Castillo pushes him off.
Kresina tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Union Castillo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Union Castillo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Union Castillo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kresina manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Union Castillo has Kresina in his guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Union Castillo wants to hit a switch here but Kresina passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Union Castillo there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kresina has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Union Castillo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kresina has his foot on Union Castillo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Union Castillo works his way back into a safe position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kresina is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Union Castillo is surviving well by controlling Kresina's body position as best he can.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Antonio Union Castillo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kresina is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Union Castillo throws a low kick but Kresina moves out of range easily.

Union Castillo is stalling here. Kresina is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Union Castillo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kresina has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Kresina wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Union Castillo, who protects the arm well.

Kresina decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Kresina escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Union Castillo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Union Castillo striking off his back but it's not causing Kresina any problems.
Union Castillo looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kresina puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Kresina wants to stand but Union Castillo has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Kresina is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Antonio Union Castillo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Union Castillo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
