The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Welch.
Welch connects with a solid leg kick.
Peters lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Welch scores with a takedown into Peters's guard.

Peters had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Welch defends it easily.
Welch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peters on the ground.
Peters is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Peters is keen to just control but Welch is a slippery customer.
