Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Snegov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joe Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Konstantin Snegov!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis ducks under a wild hook from Snegov.
Snegov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Snegov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Snegov wants it to stay on the feet.

Snegov is trying to maintain the position but Davis is very close to passing his half guard.
Davis wants to take a breather but Snegov is having none of it.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Davis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Snegov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Davis is nestled in close to Snegov, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Snegov wants to control but Davis is keeping busy.

Snegov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Davis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Davis has closed the distance and engaged Snegov in a clinch.

Davis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Snegov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Snegov is trying to drag Davis to the mat but Davis just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Davis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Davis has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
