The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with the combination.
Mattranga misses with an attempted mid kick.
A left lands for Johnson.
Johnson throws a one two combo.
Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mattranga is looking to clinch.
Mattranga tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand.
Mattranga misses with a takedown attempt
and Johnson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Johnson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mattranga is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mattranga's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mattranga can't keep his opponent in guard - Johnson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Johnson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Johnson lands a nice short elbow.
Johnson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Johnson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Johnson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Johnson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Mattranga on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Johnson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Johnson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Mattranga quite badly. Mattranga pulls Johnson in close trying to recover. Johnson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Mattranga on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Mattranga doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
