The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shimizu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Levine's head backwards.
Shimizu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Levine moves away.

Levine ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shimizu moves away.
Shimizu tests Levine's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Shimizu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Levine had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shimizu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Levine moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shimizu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Shimizu counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A left and a right from Shimizu both land. Nice combination.
Oh Levine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
