Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lester Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jimenez's choice of entrance music: I Still Feel Her Pt.3 . Dennis Jimenez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dennis Jimenez!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wise counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wise lands a jab to Jimenez's midsection.
A cross from Wise lands.
Jimenez tries to clinch
enabling Wise to counter with a crisp jab.
Jimenez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wise.
Jimenez shoots in looking for a takedown. Wise tries to sprawl out of it but Jimenez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wise manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wise lands with a nice combination. Jimenez backs away looking to recover.
Jimenez throws a combination. Wise tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Wise displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jimenez.
Lester Wise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Jimenez.
Jimenez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wise tries to avoid it but Jimenez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wise to the ground. Wise escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jimenez looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jimenez shoots in for a takedown but Wise shows good takedown defense.
Wise misses with an uppercut. Jimenez saw that one coming.
Wise lands an overhand right.

Dennis Jimenez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Wise counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jimenez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wise.

Wise misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jimenez throws a right hand that Wise ducks under and follows up with a left that Wise also avoids with ease.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wise. Jimenez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jimenez takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wise is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jimenez.
Jimenez moves out of range as Wise strikes.
Wise throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jimenez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wise counters with a left to the body.
Wise fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jimenez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wise thows a body shot but no joy.
Wise displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jimenez.
Wise scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Wise lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jimenez at a distance.
Wise lands a jab-cross combination.
Jimenez is rocked!
It looks like Dennis Jimenez has been cut.
Jimenez is holding his hands too far apart here. Wise throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Jimenez is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
