PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Turo Naulakallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flash Quickbolt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Naulakallo comes to the cage accompanied by Tech N9ne: Riot Maker. Flash Quickbolt looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quickbolt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Naulakallo.
Quickbolt looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Naulakallo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A punch combination from Quickbolt misses.
Naulakallo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quickbolt tries to avoid it but Naulakallo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quickbolt to the ground. Quickbolt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Quickbolt throws a right hand that Naulakallo ducks under and follows up with a left that Naulakallo also avoids with ease.

Quickbolt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Naulakallo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Naulakallo stands up and waves to Quickbolt to follow him.
Naulakallo dodges the punch combination from Quickbolt.
Flash Quickbolt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Naulakallo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Naulakallo tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Quickbolt is not content to let Naulakallo control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Naulakallo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Quickbolt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Naulakallo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Naulakallo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Naulakallo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Naulakallo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Quickbolt defends it well.

Naulakallo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quickbolt keeps working.

Naulakallo closes the distance and clinches up with Quickbolt, looking for a takedown. Naulakallo pushes Quickbolt against the cage but Quickbolt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Naulakallo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Quickbolt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Quickbolt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Naulakallo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Quickbolt has picked Naulakallo up and slammed him! Naulakallo can't keep hold of the triangle and Quickbolt manages to pass to side control!

Naulakallo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Quickbolt's guard.
Naulakallo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Naulakallo has hold of Quickbolt's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Quickbolt tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Naulakallo cranks the arm and Quickbolt screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Quickbolt, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
