Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timber Land (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spuke Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Land comes to the cage accompanied by Death! Death!. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ares shoots in but no luck this time.
Land wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sloppy strikes from Land. Those never looked like landing.
Ares slips a straight right by Land.
Land misses with a body shot
and Ares counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Land!
Land is in all sorts of trouble here.
Land knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ares on the ground.
Ares is standing up, even though he is in mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ares takes the fight into the clinch.
Land has had enough of the clinch but Ares keeps him there for the moment.
Ares prevents Land from breaking the clinch.
Land misses with a punch on the inside.
Land is trying to stall.
Ares works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Land wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ares manages to pass to side control.

Land tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ares wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ares content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Ares has control of an arm but Land manages to advance to Ares's back!

Land is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Ares tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Land goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ares is on top in guard.
Land is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Land looking for subs off his back but Ares has passed one foot through into half guard.
Ares performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Ares wants to work for an arm triangle but Land is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Still in half guard, Ares seems content to control.
Land tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Ares has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Land is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Ares breaks from Land's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Land tries to lock up and control but Ares gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Land is desperately trying to improve his position but Ares has a good base and remains in mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Land wants to try and get back to his feet.
Land is trying to stand but he's just given Ares his back.
Land manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ares's guard. Nice work there by Land.
Land drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ares looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ares looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ares!
Land trying to remain calm as Ares controls from the top position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Let's hope that Ares has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Land wants to get back to his feet but Ares drags him back down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spuke Ares dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ares drops down looking for an ankle pick but Land pulls his leg out and moves away.
Land swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ares counters with a shoot takedown. Land fights it but they end up in guard.
Land is looking for a triangle here but Ares uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Ares tries to move into full mount but can't pass Land's legs.
Ares trying to control the action but Land is working from the bottom.
Land wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ares tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ares has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Land looking for a sweep but Ares has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Ares wants to control the pace but Land is squirming around nicely.
Ares fails to move to back control.
Land is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ares manages to capitalize on a mistake by Land to take his back!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ares wants to control but Land is keeping busy.
Land is trying to get back to his feet but Ares has full control of the position and if anything, Land has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Land manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ares's guard. Nice work there by Land.

Land throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ares.

The fighters circle momentarily. Land darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Spuke Ares has been cut.
Land swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Timber Land seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Land looks to land a combination but Ares avoids it well.
Land lands a right hook to the body.
Land will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Land lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ares circles away quickly and effectively.
Land avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Land fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Land swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ares.
Land misses with a two punch combination.
Ares shoots in and gets a takedown into Land's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Land working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ares doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ares manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Land looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Land gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ares to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Ares wants to control from the top but Land keeps moving.
Land had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ares defends it easily.
Ares stays in close to Land's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Land is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ares slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Land throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ares escapes and throws Land's legs to the side, diving into side control!
