Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Fooligan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Satellite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Satellite struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. On his way into the cage it seems that Jimmy Fooligan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jimmy Fooligan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Fooligan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Satellite!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fooligan tries to clinch but Satellite moves out of range.
Satellite looks to score with a jab to the body but Fooligan is just out of range.

Fooligan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Satellite sprawls well initially but Fooligan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fooligan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Satellite trying to control from the bottom.
Fooligan moves into full mount! Satellite won't be happy about that!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fooligan pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.


It looks like Nick Satellite has been cut.
Satellite wants to hold on but Fooligan pushes him away.
Fooligan controlling the pace for now.

Fooligan is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Satellite has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fooligan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Fooligan wants to finish this one by submission but Satellite is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Fooligan.
Satellite keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fooligan swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Satellite is now in Fooligan's guard. A big mistake from Fooligan there, giving up the dominant position!

Satellite is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fooligan has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Satellite is looking to defend but Fooligan has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Satellite! Fooligan pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Satellite taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jimmy Fooligan!
