Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Layne Staley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George McTrigger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Staley comes to the cage accompanied by Alice in Chains - No Excuses. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Staley takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

McTrigger shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Staley napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Staley struggling a bit here.
A lull in the action here.
Staley tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McTrigger trying to control the action but Staley is working from the bottom.
McTrigger lands an elbow.

Staley manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
McTrigger wants to lay and pray for a moment but Staley keeps working.
Well, if McTrigger is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by George McTrigger.
Crunch! McTrigger slams his shin into Staley's torso.
McTrigger throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Layne Staley has been cut.
Staley misses with a wild combination.
Staley staying out of range there.

Staley darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McTrigger lands a right hook to the body.
McTrigger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Staley was well out of range. Poor timing from McTrigger.

and McTrigger counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
McTrigger lands a nice leg kick that just misses Staley's sensitive parts.
Staley is breathing heavily.
McTrigger feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Staley's calf.
McTrigger looks to land a body kick but Staley moved away.
McTrigger swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Oooooh!!! McTrigger has knocked Staley down with a huge combo! McTrigger steps away and waves a wobbly Staley back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

and McTrigger counters with a lovely shot to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for McTrigger.
Staley gets cracked there but stands up to it.

A nice inside leg kick there by McTrigger. That's going to slow Staley down.

Staley takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McTrigger throws a low kick but Staley moves out of range easily.
McTrigger lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Staley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
McTrigger drops Staley with a big left hand! Staley is injured, injured bad! McTrigger jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
