Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rayden Machinator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machinator comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Queen - 'We Will Rock You' kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! William Yang had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. William Yang had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rayden Machinator!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang shoots and misses
and Machinator counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Machinator shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Machinator trying to control but Yang is working from the bottom.
Machinator wants to get up but he can't break Yang's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Machinator stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yang swivels though and keeps the full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Yang is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Machinator wants to control from the top but Yang keeps moving.
Rayden Machinator has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Yang with a poor takedown
and Machinator counters with a nice double leg into side control. Yang won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machinator postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Machinator stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Yang is breathing heavily.
Machinator throws a head kick that half lands.

Yang fails with the takedown
and Machinator counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Yang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Machinator not doing much here.
Machinator stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Yang to get to his feet.
Machinator drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Machinator wants to control from the top but Yang keeps moving.
Machinator stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yang swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Machinator slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rayden Machinator was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Yang looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Machinator!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Machinator wants to control but Yang is having none of it.
Machinator is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Yang raining down shots from the mount!

Machinator can't escape the position.
Yang lands a nice shot to the head.
Machinator flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Yang prevents Machinator from getting the reversal.
Machinator tries to lock up and control but Yang gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yang dominating with strikes here.
Machinator wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Machinator is trying to escape the mount.
Yang has hold of Machinator's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Machinator manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Machinator wants to hold on but Yang pushes him away.
Machinator takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Yang putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Yang lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Machinator wants to control but Yang is having none of it.

Machinator is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Machinator tries to reverse the position but Yang maintains control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Machinator tries to hold on but Yang postures up.
Yang looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rayden Machinator dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Machinator misses with a takedown attempt
and Yang counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Machinator!
Machinator slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Yang looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Machinator avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Yang.
Machinator works his way to full guard. Good work.
Yang throws a strike but Machinator rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rayden Machinator has got the better of the ground game so far.
Yang tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Machinator gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Machinator darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Yang has hold of Machinator's hands but Machinator slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Yang tries to get to full guard but Machinator has control of the leg.
Well, if Machinator is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Machinator maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Yang could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Machinator has cracked it and Yang is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Machinator!
