Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nelio dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabbit comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hero by Skillet kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Rabbit counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rabbit has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but dos Santos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

dos Santos drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rabbit dives on top into guard.

dos Santos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
dos Santos thows a huge punch but Rabbit dodges it nicely.

dos Santos wants to control but Rabbit is keeping him busy.

dos Santos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rabbit is just riding it out for now. dos Santos eventually gives up the hold.
dos Santos stalling away here and it's allowed Rabbit to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rabbit has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think dos Santos should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rabbit has tightened it up now! dos Santos should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
