Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between German Shepherd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tennis Tim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shepherd's entrance music is On top of Spaghetti. A fine choice. Tim has chosen Gangsta bitch as his entrance music. Tennis Tim has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tim shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shepherd defends it nicely.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Shepherd.
Shepherd scores with punches from side control.
Tim defending against the ground and pound.
Shepherd working the strikes but Tim uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Shepherd looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Shepherd throwing shots but Tim is blocking nicely.

Shepherd is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tim doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shepherd.
Shepherd thows a huge punch but Tim dodges it nicely.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shepherd connects with a nice short shot to Tim's temple.

Shepherd is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Shepherd works his foot free and advances to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shepherd goes for an armbar but Tim turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Tim.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Shepherd escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Shepherd looking for a sweep. Not yet Shepherd, not yet.

Shepherd is looking for a triangle but Tim pushes his legs off easily.

Tim got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shepherd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tim has managed to get both his arms back between Shepherd's legs - danger averted.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tim has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shepherd to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tim is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shepherd pulls down on the head and he's put Tim to sleep! This one is all over!
