Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Roscrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Turek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roscrow comes to the cage accompanied by Big Time. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Perry Roscrow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerald Turek!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turek gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Roscrow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Turek looks to clinch
and Roscrow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Turek misses with an attempted mid kick.
Roscrow circles away from the clinch attempt
and Roscrow counters with a nice uppercut.
Turek has his takedown stuffed
letting Roscrow counter with a right hand.
Turek gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Roscrow counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Perry Roscrow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerald Turek.
Turek moves to clinch but Roscrow breaks away
and Roscrow counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Roscrow cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Turek looks to land a combination but Roscrow avoids it well.

Roscrow gets the takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Turek tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Roscrow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turek keeps working.

Turek manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Roscrow makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Roscrow.
Turek wants to control from the top but Roscrow keeps moving.
Roscrow is adopting a defensive guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Roscrow is looking to stand up but Turek isn't so interested in that idea.
Turek throws a strike but Roscrow rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Turek keeping moving, preventing Roscrow from controlling successfully.

Roscrow stands up and waves to Turek to follow him.
Turek misses with a takedown

so Roscrow counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Roscrow trying to control the position from guard on top but Turek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roscrow tries to free his leg and advance position but Turek is retaining full guard.
Turek preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Roscrow gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Roscrow feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Roscrow is breathing heavily.
Turek is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Roscrow wants to get up but he can't break Turek's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gerald Turek hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

and Roscrow moves into the clinch.
Roscrow has Turek pressed against the cage, preventing Turek from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Roscrow tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Turek gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Roscrow.

Turek pulls Roscrow into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Roscrow has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Turek is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turek bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Roscrow's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roscrow walks into a jab.


It looks like Perry Roscrow has been cut.

Turek closes the distance and clinches.
Turek tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Roscrow jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Turek walks away with a smile on his face. Roscrow gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Turek gets to his feet. Roscrow looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Roscrow blocks a leg kick.
Turek throws a nice looking combination but Roscrow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Roscrow tries to move into range but Turek moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Turek fails with the takedown

and Roscrow counters with a takedown into side control.
Turek wants to get back to his feet.
Turek regains half guard there - taking advantage of Roscrow's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Turek is trying to stand back up but Roscrow is controlling him
Turek holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Roscrow throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Roscrow tries to stand and escape but Turek is controlling the position.
Turek moves into full guard.

Turek is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Roscrow is controlling him.

Roscrow is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Perry Roscrow overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Turek looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Roscrow wants to get up but he can't break Turek's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Turek manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Turek cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gerald Turek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Perry Roscrow's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Turek shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Roscrow as he jumps to the side.

and Roscrow decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Turek's guard.
Roscrow has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Turek is proving hard to escape from.
Turek lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roscrow!

Roscrow wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Turek.

Turek is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Roscrow stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Turek throws a nice looking combination but Roscrow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Turek tries to score a power double leg takedown but Roscrow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Turek somewhat.
Roscrow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A looping hook to the body misses from Turek. Roscrow does a little dance to reset his feet.

Turek fails with the takedown

and Roscrow counters with a single leg into guard. Turek didn't expect that.

Turek pushes Roscrow off and scrambles back to his feet.

Turek shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Roscrow's guard.

Roscrow wants to get back to his feet but Turek is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Turek stands and steps away. Roscrow gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Perry Roscrow showed his dominance in that final round.
