Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ukko Petkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Del Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Petkele might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to M.A. Numminen - Perkele. Thompson has chosen Gin and Juice by Snoop Dog as his entrance music. Del Thompson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ukko Petkele's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petkele shoots in looking for a takedown but Thompson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Petkele's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Thompson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Petkele circles away quickly and effectively.

and Petkele counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Petkele is working to tighten is grip on Thompson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Thompson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Petkele is really squeezing tight and eventually Thompson passes out! Petkele breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
