Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Cristo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Dzagoev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jerry Cristo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
21 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alan Dzagoev!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dzagoev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cristo manages to avoid it.
Cristo is breathing heavily.
Dzagoev jabs Cristo right on the nose. Cristo blinks but takes it well.
A bone on bone clash there as Dzagoev blocks the leg kick.
Cristo blocks a jab.
Dzagoev blocks a low kick nicely.
Cristo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cristo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dzagoev cracks Cristo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dzagoev has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cristo to stand back up!
Cristo is rocked!
Dzagoev works Cristo's body with a nice hook.
Oh Cristo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dzagoev lands a nice looking body shot.
Dzagoev lands with an overhand left.
Dzagoev digs a good hook to Cristo's body.
Dzagoev throws a looping overhand right but Cristo ducks down to avoid it.
Cristo seems to have got his legs back now.
Dzagoev changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Cristo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Cristo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Cristo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dzagoev.
Dzagoev misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dzagoev connects with a stiff jab that staggers Cristo - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alan Dzagoev!
