The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monsterson swings for the body but Pride moves out of range.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Gay Pride was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Monsterson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pride lands a big head kick that sends Monsterson tumbling to the mat! Pride takes a step backwards and waves Monsterson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Pride lands a brutal head kick. Monsterson looks out on his feet and Pride throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
