The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

so Kraljevic counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kraljevic wants to get up but he can't break Kampmann's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kampmann has his foot on Kraljevic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kraljevic works his way back into a safe position though.

Kraljevic is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kampmann defends well.

Kampmann has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That was a close round but I would say that Mario Kraljevic will probably get the nod.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kampmann is defended easily by Kraljevic.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mario Kraljevic.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kraljevic, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
