Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Ardrizi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karim Adel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adel has chosen let the body hit the floor as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adel throws a left and a right that both miss

and Ardrizi counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Adel trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Adel is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ardrizi with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Ardrizi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ardrizi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Adel wants to hit a switch here but Ardrizi passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Adel there!
Adel is looking to improve his position but Ardrizi isn't that keen on the idea.
Adel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ardrizi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Adel is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Adel manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Ardrizi moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Adel.
Ardrizi works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Ardrizi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Adel wants to improve his position but Ardrizi is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adel is staying active underneath Ardrizi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ardrizi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Adel pushes Ardrizi off, looking to escape but Ardrizi dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Adel is forced to tap! The fight is over!
