The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malinowsky lands a front kick.
Malinowsky throws a left and a right that both miss

and Bright counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Malinowsky is trying to stand back up but Bright is controlling him
Malinowsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bright perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bright is breathing heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Chris Bright wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Malinowsky throws a sloppy head kick and Bright moves out of range easily.
Bright misses with a jab, cross combination.

Bright closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bright looks up at the clock and then as Malinowsky takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bright smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Malinowsky wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Bright has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Malinowsky is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bright yanks on the arm and Malinowsky is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bright.
