Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judge Holden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chaz Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaz Michaels has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Judge Holden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chaz Michaels!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holden misses with a combination
and Michaels counters with a straight right hand.
Judge Holden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holden lands a nice hook to Michaels's body. Michaels takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Michaels misses with a hook to the ribs.

Michaels must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Holden had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Michaels defends it easily.

Michaels got a little sloppy there for a moment and Holden has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Michaels has managed to get both his arms back between Holden's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holden has gone for a leg lock! Michaels slips out almost immediately though and dives into Holden's guard.
Holden escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Michaels gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Michaels tries to free his leg and advance position but Holden is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Judge Holden dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Holden looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Holden looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Holden throws a lazy right hand but Michaels sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Holden counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Michaels thinking.

Holden looks to throw the jab but Michaels is out of range.
Michaels swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting Holden counter with a right hand.
Michaels uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Holden.
Holden lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A looping hook to the body misses from Michaels. Holden does a little dance to reset his feet.

Michaels tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Holden was well out of range. Poor timing from Michaels.

Holden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Michaels sprawls well. Michaels wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Holden gets slowly back to his feet.
