Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Massey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon James told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Massey closes this distance looking for a takedown but James circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

James lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Massey is rocked!
James cracks Massey with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Massey tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but James pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Massey is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon James!
