Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Atkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drandt Bavis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bavis's choice of entrance music: When I'm Gone. Drandt Bavis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atkins just misses with a punch to the body.

Bavis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Atkins takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Atkins, as that shot connected.
Bavis throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Atkins has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bavis uses from the top position.

Atkins is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bavis is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bavis flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Atkins anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bavis and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Atkins slips an arm under Bavis chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Atkins has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Atkins is squeezing on Bavis like an anaconda would it's prey. Bavis fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
