Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between jamii banana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mustafa zdupy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
banana tries for a takedown but zdupy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
zdupy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. banana manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
banana is controlling zdupy's posture.

banana throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
banana takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

banana wants to work for an arm triangle but zdupy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
banana throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
zdupy fails with the takedown
and banana counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
zdupy moves out of range as banana strikes.
banana closes the distance and clinches up with zdupy, looking for a takedown. banana pushes zdupy against the cage but zdupy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
