Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Domingo Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pawel Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Domingo Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gonzalez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Potter counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gonzalez's guard now.

Gonzalez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Potter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Potter drops back looking for a leg! Gonzalez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gonzalez manages to kick Potter off! Potter jumps back into Gonzalez's guard.
Potter tries to free his leg and advance position but Gonzalez is retaining full guard.

Potter wants to free his trapped foot but Gonzalez is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Well, if Potter is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Gonzalez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Potter pulls his head out easily.

Potter pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Potter breaks from Gonzalez's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Potter wants to control the pace but Gonzalez is squirming around nicely.

Potter misses with a head shot.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Gonzalez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Potter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gonzalez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Potter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
